Daikon radish leaf “furikake” (rice topping)

Ingredients: (serves 3~4 )

Daikon Happa Furikake

1 head of daikon radish leaf

1 table spoon of sesame oil

1/2 table spoon of soy sauce

salt to taste

2.5g bonito flakes (optional)

Direction:

1. Wash dikon radish leaf well in cold water and pat dry

2. finely chop the daikon radish leaf

3. Heat the frying pan and put sesame oil

4. put finely chopped leaf and sauté for 1 minute

5. pour in soy sauce and bonito flakes and mix well

6. turn off the heat to avoid over cooking

7. taste and add salt to your preference

8. top the seasoned daikon radish leaf on freshly cooking steaming rice

Tips:

For the fresh and crunchy flavor of daikon radish leaf, avoid sautéing too long. You can add this

to cooked pasta, scrambled egg and salad, too! Keeps in fridge for 2~3days. Enjoy!
